It’s over two centuries of sublime brewing craft, a remarkable knack of spreading the word and more than a few leaps of faith. From the first brew in 1759 up to today, ruthless focus on quality.
In the Caribbean, Central America and Northern Latin America the 13 brewery partners who brew Guinness under license enter every year in a fierce competition to get recognized as the best quality Guinness brewer of the region. On a monthly basis all breweries send samples to the St. James Gate brewery in Dublin where the product is analyzed against various parameters, such as taste profile, color rating and packaging.
