A swinging, singing, ringing Christmas special

The renowned St. Matthew’s Sunrise Choir and Friends present”A Swinging, Singing, Ringing Christmas Special on Friday, December 10 and Saturday, December 11 at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Shirley and Church Streets at 7: 30 p.m.

Under the direction of musical director, teacher, composer and organist Marjorie Knowles, the St. Matthew’s Sunrise Choir and Friends will be swinging to the sounds of the season, singing out the sounds that we all love to hear, and ringing out the bells of joy to everyone.

This year, the group will present renditions from”Noel,” a musical collection of Christmas moments created by David T. Clydesdale and Deborah Craig-Claar.

The group is known for performing at Government House and the Rainforest Theatre with performances such as”Repeat the Sounding Joy,”Noel Then and Now,”and”Christmas on Broadway.”

Claudette”Cookie”Allens, Irrington”Minky”Isaacs and Dr. Austin Davis will be accompanied by organist, pianist and musical director Dexter Fernander. Soloists Kervinique Ferguson, Nathaniel Bosfield and Lawrence Antonio, as well as instrumentalists Ryan Higgs, Shavelle Darling, Gerrard Hepburn and Brittney Bullard will all have you swinging, singing and ringing this Christmas season. Tickets are$20, and available at the church’s office or at the door.
