Ending the year with a bang
It was a night of lights, and holiday cheer on the”high seas”as the British Colonial Hilton hosted its annual Christmas corporate event on board the Bohengy II. In a special partnership with Bahamas Ferries, both companies hosted a joint corporate client event on board.
It was also a great opportunity for the Hilton’s Club Liaison partners to join in with revelers and boating enthusiasts in the Ministry of Tourism’s first Festival of Lights Boat Parade.
Excited clients were treated to a fantastic cruise in Nassau Harbour, with festive light displays along with music by Falcon Traffic Jam and a smorgasbord of culinary delights.
The event also highlighted another Hilton promotion for its top producing corporate bookers between October and December 15, who stood the chance of earning fabulous prizes in the”12 Bookers of Christmas Promotion.”The grand prize was free grocery for a year at Phil’s Food Services, along with other fantastic prizes.
Theresa Laramore of Executive Flight support walked away with the$1,200 grocery coupon, with a$100 certificate towards grocery each month. Other winners included Eurika Bastian of Odyssey Aviation who won a weekend stay at the luxurious Grand Isle Resort&Spa, Exuma with airfare for two provided by Sky Bahamas. Margaret Tynes of PriceWaterhouseCoopers also won a weekend stay at Cape Santa Maria Resort, Long Island; Katie Clarke of Bahamas Maritime, received a cocktail party for 25 persons at the Hilton; Delora Moncur of Scotiabank was the winner of a luxury spa package with Creative Beauty Spa Therapy; Joette Edwards also of Scotiabank won a HDTV/DVR set top box courtesy of Cable Bahamas; Juliette Lightbourn of URCA was the recipient of a one-year gym membership at the Hilton Fitness Center; Ericka Hudson of RBC won tickets for two to Harbour Island on the Bohengy; Eurika Cartwright of Scotiatrust won a fabulous John Bull Gift Basket and Lana Bowe of Citibank earned a Kelly’s Gift Certificate.
