The Illest Band to rock the house in [email protected]

Just when you thought you’d seen their best, the”illest”band in town is doing it again, and this time it will be huge.”Make Em Listen”presents [email protected], a concert that will feature The Illest, formerly known as Willis&The Illest. This special event will showcase everyone’s favorite reggae fusion band putting on their first real concert this Saturday evening at Uptown Lounge, and you are invited to see them up close and personal in an event that you won’t forget as they make a big step on the music scene.

To make this evening even more phenomenal musical artist Irate will be the opening act. Members of the local rock band Avant Garden will also make an appearance to play a few of their latest songs.

From the Illest themselves you can expect a night of endless hits which will include favorites like”Hey”,”Inity”,”Natty Dread”,”Guitar Love”,”Gonna Make

You Fall”and a special surprise performance of their new song”Mellow Moods,”which will be featured on their upcoming second album. And to sweeten the deal before the show starts all ladies receive a complimentary drink.

Lead vocalist Willis Knowles says that you will be in for a concert like no other as the band will push itself to new heights to bring something fresh and new to their ever expanding fan base.

“It’s an amazing feeling that this is happening,”he said. ”It feels good and very rewarding because we put a whole lot of work into getting where we are. Right now it was just a great time to make another step forward so we are really excited about how it is turning out. This will be a great concert that will be a whole lot more different than our usual gigs.

“At the end of the day we will have a good time and we’re excited to see the reaction of our fans to the concert as well as the new song we will be introducing. We are really trying to broaden ourselves so we are excited to see what happens.”

Drummer Tracy Knowles is also excited that the band is making this move. For him what is happening feels natural as the band has always had a sense of unity and loyalty. He expects that the event will be exciting and hopes that the crowd will have as much fun as the band will.
