ACFE appoints John S. Bain to Advisory Council
The Board of Regents of the Association of Fraud Examiners(ACFE)recently announced that Bahamian chartered forensic accountant John Bain was appointed to its Advisory Council for 2011 and beyond.
As a member of the Advisory Council, Bain, the principal at John S. Bain, Chartered Forensic Accountants and the vice president of the ACFE Bahamas Chapter, will be participating in reviews, surveys and professional development activities that are on the cutting edge of fraud prevention and detection. His contribution will help shape future course materials, seminars, workshops and products of the ACFE, while also giving insight into the changing world of fraud education and training.
Members of the ACFE Advisory Council will have a direct line to the ACFE to give feedback on products and services, review future course materials and topics, share case studies, help plan events and seminars, serve on specialized committees and, most importantly, give expert opinion on a growing and changing industry.
