Quiznos on Madeira Street closing forrefurbishment

Business expansions appear to be soldiering on, with Quiznos Subs this month planning upgrades to at least one of its locations in New Providence.

QS Restaurants Ltd, franchise operators of the popular restaurant chain, has announced that the company’s outlet on Madeira Street will be closed for upgrading effective Saturday, 12th March.

Meanwhile the company is preparing to open its spanking new outlet in the food court of the U.S. departures terminal at the Lynden Pindling International Airport. The opening will take place on Wednesday, 16th March. It’s one of19 retail and food and beverage options in the terminal, including a native sit down restaurant, Kafe Kalik, that can seat up to 170 persons.

Other shops and amenities include John Bull, Bahama Sol, Dunkin Donuts, Wendy’s, Graycliff, Cay News Gift Shop and Pirana Joe, among others. There is also a bar and a duty free liquor store.

While the upgrades are ongoing, Quiznos has advised customers to patronize its facility on Paradise Island in the meantime, which is located next to Anthony’s Grill and is open seven days a week.
