40 days of purpose

United Faith Ministries International will join a worldwide network of thousands of churches in a spiritual journey as they launch the”40 Days of Purpose Campaign,”that will enable participants to discover the answer to life’s most important question: What on earth am I here for?

The campaign that runs for six weeks, commences on Saturday, March 19. By the end of this journey, organizers say participants will know God’s purpose for their life and will understand the big picture and how all the pieces fit together.

During the 40 Days of Purpose Campaign at United Faith Ministries Int’l, participants will be taught the truths about God’s five purposes for people worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism. This will allow for the truth to sink deeper into their hearts, which is essential for any permanent life change.

Having this perspective, they say will allow participants to reduce their stress, simplify their decisions, increase their satisfaction, and prepare them for eternity. The events of the campaign they say will give participants opportunities to commit to habits of spiritual growth, memorize scriptures, participate in small group discussions and fellowship, serve in a ministry in their church, share their faith, and learn to live a lifestyle of worship to the glory of God who is glorified when people successfully produce according to His design for their lives.

Inspired by remarkable stories of spiritual renewal and growth, an estimated 30,000 churches worldwide have experienced the purpose driven phenomena inspired by Dr. Rick Warren, senior pastor of one of America’s largest churches–Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. The first 1,500 churches to hold a 40 Days of Purpose Campaign, reported their worship attendance increased an average of 22 percent.

At the center of the campaign is Rick Warren’s best-selling hardback book in American history, according to Publisher’s Weekly:”The Purpose Driven Life”, which has sold more than 30 million copies since the book’s release in 2002. Following its 40 Days of Purpose campaign, Saddleback Church baptized 671 new believers, added almost 1,200 new members, and increased average attendance by 2,000.

On Sunday, March 20 and every Sunday for the duration of the campaign, Apostle Phalmon A. Ferguson, senior pastor of United Faith Ministries International will deliver the sermon. Once per week, participants will meet in various small groups where there will be a short video presentation, followed by discussions and fellowship. The campaign will culminate with a celebration on Sunday, May 1 at 10:30 a.m., which will encompass testimonies of what God has done in the lives of participants during the campaign.

Organizers say they are excited to witness participants living in alignment with God’s purposes for their lives, maximizing their full potential and the impact it could have on their church and the broader community.

Registration for the campaign takes place at the church east on Fire Trail Road or by telephone numbers: 341-0502 or 341-0319.
