Real estate sales up, says real estate developer

Leading brokers and developers across New Providence are reporting a visible increase in sales, rentals and inquiries during the first quarter of 2011.

The news comes from Bahama Islands Realty in a March 16 press release, citing the launch of the Marina Drive Condo by Palm Cay Developments as evidence of renewed confidence in The Bahamas.

“Our team of professionals at Bahama Islands Realty(BIR)are proud to be the exclusive agents for Marina Drive Condos at Palm Cay,”said BIR Broker and President Carmen Massoni.”We continue to see heightened interest in the market during this first quarter of this year, and these new condos now give a wider range of homeowners the opportunity to live the Palm Cay lifestyle at an affordable price.”

The Marina Drive Condos, located on the southeastern New Providence coast, are geared toward first-time buyers, second-home owners and retirees, according to the media release. They are being offered exclusively by Bahama Islands Realty.

The 2-bedroom 2-bathroom units, now under construction and scheduled for completion at the beginning of 2012, are priced from$350,000 to$380,000 and are available in one or two storey design. They provide a unique opportunity for homebuyers to enjoy the amenity-rich Palm Cay community, according to the promoters.

The precise location of the development is between the Treasure Cove and Port New Providence developments. Palm Cay offers spectacular homes, condos and home sites in a secure, well-planned, 69-acre community. Palm Cay also features beaches, landscaped parks, tennis courts and a host of other leisure facilities that encourage owners to take full advantage of The Bahamas’weather and natural surroundings.

Palm Cay also features a deep-water marina and affordable dock slips. Residents will also enjoy membership at the private waterfront Governor’s Club with exclusive facilities and services.

“These new condos being developed at Palm Cay are a testament to the confidence that investors continue to show in The Bahamas as a viable base for real estate projects,”Massoni added.”We are very happy to be marketing and selling a product where clients can finally have it all and need not to compromise. I can honestly say that this is the only community in Nassau that offers a full service marina, spectacular clubhouse, beaches, tennis courts, pools and 24-hour security for$350,000.”
