Dr. Minnis checks into PMH following severe headache
Minister of Health Dr. Hubert Minnis is resting at home after suffering a health scare on Saturday that required him to check into the hospital.
The Cabinet Office issued a statement yesterday as a public update on the state of Minnis’health.
“The public is hereby advised that Dr. Hubert Minnis, Minister of Health, is resting comfortably at home as prescribed,”the released read.
It revealed that Minnis suffered a terrible headache that led him to check himself into the Princess Margaret Hospital, where he was found to have an elevated blood pressure level.
“Upon his return from Eleuthera on Saturday he checked himself into the hospital to have an assessment carried out for a severe headache he was then experiencing,”it continued.
The statement noted that Minnis was required to remain in hospital for a few hours to rest. Minnis was discharged from the hospital that same evening.
