Man arrested at GB airport for possession of suspected drugs
A 22-year-old male resident of Freeport is in police custody after he was found in possession of a quantity of suspected cocaine.
According to police reports, sometime around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15th, a team of Drug Enforcement Unit officers acting on information went to the Grand Bahama International Airport where the arrest was made, after the suspect was found at the pre-clearance lounge with the suspected drugs.
The total weight of the suspected drugs was 12.5 pounds, and it has an estimated street value $150,000. This matter is under active investigation.
