Male shot in both arms
Police are investigating a shooting incident that has left a 41-year-old male of Monastery Park with injuries to both arms.
The incident reportedly occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Reports indicate that the victim was driving his truck on Williams Lane off Kemp Road when he was approached by two men who attempted to stop him.
The driver sped off and was subsequently shot in both arms.
Police are also investigating a shooting incident that has left a 19-year-old male with a gunshot injury to the left arm.
The incident reportedly occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.
According to police reports the victim was walking in the area of Florida Court along with two other males, when he heard gunshots and realized that he was shot in his arm.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated and discharged, however, he remains in police custody on an outstanding warrant of arrest.
The other two men were not injured. Active police investigations continue.
