Funeral Service for the late Leon Hasting Sweeting age 76 years of Ambergrist Street and formerly of Gregory Town, Eleuthera will be held on Thursday 7th December, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Evangelistic Temple, Collins Avenue. Officiating will be Pastor Vaughan Cash assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Gregory Town Public Cemetery on Saturday 9th December, 2017.

He is survived by his wife: Elouise Sweeting (Deceased); daughters: Tina & Leona Sweeting, Christa (Randy) Thurston and Denise (Jermaine) Higgs; sons: Glen, Terrance (Greta) & Roscoe (Santani) Sweeting; grandchildren: Antoine, Terran and Tyra Sweeting, Shannon and Shawn Thurston, Jermaine Jr, Jahmier and Jaylyn Higgs, Jade and Joshua Dean; sisters: Arlene Major and Wealthy Hamilton; brothers: Maxwell (Patricia) Sweeting and Dennis (Eulene) Johnson and the Late James Sweeting; sister-in-law: Rozena (Lehenzor) Bain; brother-in-law: Eric (Dee) Bullard; nieces: Tracey (Romeo) White, Tamika Major, Tesha (Clint) Clarke, Talia (Pretino) Albury, Deandrea Hamilton, Tanya Northeast Been; nephews: Peter (Jenny) Major, Ryan (Pamela) Major, Jamal (Glendia) Sweeting, Michael (Toni) and Chadrick Sweeting, Lester and Dominic (Renee) Roache, Corey Hamilton and Vince Thompson; other family including: Cyril Gardiner & family, Dorothy Simon & Family, Wellington Middelton, Richard Dean, The Families of the Late Joseph, Richard and Wilfred Johnson, The Families of Sandra Pennerman, Daisy Russell, The Late Miriam Butler-Pratt and Edward Cox, , The Families of Bertha Dean, Teddy Johnson, Myrtle Major, Jan Russell, The Families of the Late Annie Maurice, Phyllis Williams and Junior Sweeting and Oswald Sweeting, Antoinette Thompson, Adrian, Paul, Solomon, Alex, John-Arthur and Neberth Johnson and The Arnette Family. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians #44 Nassau Street on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Friday at St. Agnes Anglican Church Gregory Town, Eleuthera from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
