sbe unveils latest nightlife concept with opening of Bond at Baha Mar
Bond, the latest nightlife concept from global lifestyle hospitality leader sbe is now open at Baha Mar. The 10,000-square-foot venue, sbe’s sixth culinary and entertainment location to open at the luxury resort destination, is a late-night hot spot for up to 725 guests, featuring dramatic décor initially conceived by Lenny Kravitz’s Kravitz Design, pulsating deejay beats, high-tech audiovisual features, custom mixology and tableside bottle service.
In signature style, sbe held a series of exclusive events throughout the weekend to commemorate the grand opening, beginning with an intimate VIP event on December 28, hosted by Graeme Davis, president of Baha Mar, and Sam Nazarian, founder and CEO of sbe, for friends, family and influencers. The venue’s grand opening events continued through the New Year with performances by DJ Vice and internationally acclaimed DJ Cassidy. Notable attendees throughout the weekend included Sir Philip and Lady Tina Green, Chloe Green and Jeremy Meeks, Grand Master Flash, Star Jones and Pauly Shore.
Designed to provide an escape from everyday life, the nightclub’s electrifying interior design and state-of-the-art sound systems run through two divergent rooms, separated by a centerpiece bar. Upon entering the main room, eyes are immediately drawn to the ceiling’s 2,000-square-foot LED screen, displaying intoxicating visuals in sync with fast-paced rhythms. The deejay booth is backed by tiled LED panels, adding to the vibrancy while contrasting with the room’s otherwise moody marble walls, featuring black and tan stone swirls.
For more exclusivity, booth seats line the walls and bottle service is available at over 20 tables. Additionally, three private tables are centrally situated in a roped-off section providing the best deejay and overall club views for larger VIP groups of up to 24 people. Located past the tables and main bar, the lounge embodies a more intimate and edgy vibe marked by graffiti murals by local artists. In this space, a dimly lit seating area provides the perfect retreat for momentary recharging before getting back to the irresistible dance floor.
As part of a larger movement to introduce cutting-edge dining and nightlife, Bond marks sbe’s sixth outlet to open at Baha Mar. The group also operates Cleo, Monkey Bar and Bungalow Pool Bar & Grill, all on property at SLS Baha Mar, with Privilege and Skybar, Nassau’s only rooftop lounge, opening in early 2018. Additionally, Katsuya (sbe’s modern take on classic Japanese cuisine) opened in mid-August on the Baha Mar Casino floor, and Fi’lia debuted in late December, featuring honest Italian cuisine by James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Schwartz.
Located at One Baha Mar Blvd at Baha Mar Casino, Bond is open Thursdays to Saturdays from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Non-hotel guests will be admitted with a table reservation or cover charge based on availability.
