We’ll meet again
As many of my valued readers will be aware of, I was brought up in my early years, until I was 13 years of age, in Birmingham, in the Midlands, in England before returning to the land of my birth Ireland. So although a very young boy, I witnessed World War II firsthand.
Now at that time there was a singer called Vera Lynn in England who was very popular and she had a huge hit called “We’ll Meet Again” — the words went like this “We’ll meet again, Don’t know where, don’t know when, But I know we’ll meet again Some sunny day.” It was of course dedicated to all of the troops who went to Europe and other parts of the world to participate in the awful war and who would not return alive. So you may say, “D. Paul, what’s the purpose of today’s title, we’ll meet again, what are you endeavoring to convey to us by it?”
Well, I’m a metaphysician and I believe in reincarnation. Although the body obviously dies at some point, the real person, the spirit within never dies, but lives for eternity. So it is my personal belief, that we’ll all meet up one day, don’t know where, don’t know when, but I know we’ll meet again someday. I send this message to a whole lot of people when a loved one of theirs makes their transition. Hopefully, it assists them in their hour of grief to know, that they will in fact see their loved one again at some time in the future.
Yes my friend, we’ll meet again in another place at some time in the future — at least that’s my particular belief. So in effect, we’ll all be reunited with our loved ones who have passed on. This to me is a very positive thought and I trust that it has added some new hope for you, that you’ll see all of your departed friends and relatives someday.
