Online registration opens for JBLN

The Junior Baseball League of Nassau (JBLN) wishes to alert the general public that online registration for the new season is now activated. The online portal opened on Saturday.

“It is very important that our veteran players register early since we always have an influx of new players and we would not like to see space denied due to their late registration,” said league commissioner Jeff Albury through an e-mail. “Parents registered on our e-mail list from last season will receive frequent e-mails in the coming weeks. Registration can only be done online at the website www.jblnbaseball.com.”

The league announces that registration fees can be paid at the baseball fields in Nassau East South adjacent to St. Andrew’s School on the following dates: Saturday September 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Saturday September 22, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; and Saturday September 29, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Online registration can also be done on those dates.

Tryouts for players moving to another age group and new players entering the league as well as the 2019 draft selection is scheduled for Saturday October 6. Final registration will be held from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. (space available only) on Saturday October 6. Tryouts will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. that day, and the draft will be held from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

The Junior Baseball League of Nassau will start its 30th season of youth baseball with a girls softball component on Saturday January 12, 2019.
