Welcome home Shaunae
Olympic Champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo returned home to The Bahamas yesterday afternoon. Miller-Uibo had an unbelievable, undefeated season which she capped off by winning her second consecutive International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Diamond League tittle in the women’s 200 meters (m), and third in total, this year.
She ended her 2018 season with an unblemished 18-0 win-loss record in all of her events, including heats, semifinals and finals, relays and a couple of unconventional events for her – the high jump and shot put events. She completed one of the all-time great years, if not the greatest year, by a Bahamian track and field athlete ever.
