BTC awards top H.O. Nash students for BJC results

H.O. Nash Junior School’s top student last year, Jasmine Anderson (now a student at Kingsway Academy) was awarded a laptop by BTC as it recognized top performers during the school’s annual awards ceremony as it celebrated student accomplishments at its adopted school.

Anderson received nine A grades and two B grades in the Bahamas Junior Certificate (BJC) examinations.

Fellow students, Vandaleeza Hepburn, now a student at C.R. Walker; and Jafari Miller, now a student at Anatol Rogers, both received eight A grades and two B grades respectively and were awarded smart phones. BTC also provided gift bags for 21 students.

Indira Collie, BTC senior manager encouraged the students to continue to strive for excellence as she said the school continues to produce some of the best and brightest students in the country.

“We were happy to share in the celebration of these remarkable students,” said Collie.
