A man accused of aiding and abetting an alleged murderer was yesterday denied bail.
Charvis McPhee, 21, of Sandilands Village Road, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt accused of aiding and abetting the person who gunned down Stantavio Lord on November 12.
Last week, police charged 19-year-old Travis Thompson, of Golden Isles Road, with Lord’s murder.
According to police, Lord was walking on Watlins Street, off Andros Avenue, when he was approached by a man armed with a firearm, who shot him before running away.
Both McPhee and Thompson return to court on February 8, when it is expected that the matter will be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court by a voluntary bill of indictment.
