Do it now
One of the things that keeps a whole lot of people back in life and ultimately denies them the great success which The Creator fully equipped them for and which they desire, is summed up in one word, and that word is ‘procrastination’. That’s right, far too many people whom The Creator filled to capacity with unique and special talents with which to succeed in life, consistently fail simply because they keep on putting off what needs to be done today. Yes indeed, ‘perpetual procrastination’ is the enemy of a successful life.
Now let me ask you a simple question: Do you do what you should do when you should do it, or are you always putting things off? Well my friend, how did you honestly answer that most important question? I do hope for your sake that you’re not a ‘perpetual procrastinator’ but instead you get whatever needs to get done at any given time. As Young put it, “Procrastination is the thief of time”…yes indeed it is.
My friend, if you keep putting things off all of your life, you literally have no hope whatsoever of eventually achieving your goals and objectives and thus becoming successful. Those who succeed in life are people of action, people who adopt the frame of mind which is summed up in the phrase, which is the title of this article which I heard from W. Clement Stone many years ago,‘Do It Now’.
So in conclusion, please, please stop that very bad and destructive habit of continually putting things off which need to be dealt with today, NOW! ‘Perpetual procrastinators’ never get anywhere in life as they keep on putting things on the back burner. So please, adopt the slogan which I learnt from W. Clement Stone many years ago and simply ‘Do It Now’.
Think about it!
