Tragedy struck Nassau Christian Academy (NCA) yesterday, when the school’s principal, Brentford Isaacs, collapsed in his office and died.
Isaacs, 65, was the principal at NCA for at least 18 years.
Howard Mills, NCA’s school administrator, said the incident was a shock.
Mills said a school employee discovered Isaacs’ body shortly before noon.
Parents were called shortly after, and the school was closed.
Family and friends of Isaacs gathered near his office as police examined the body, singing hymns.
Police said they found no evidence of foul play and are treating the incident as a sudden death.
