FIU wins Bahamas Bowl

Florida International University defeated the University of Toledo Rockets 35-32 to win the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl yesterday at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium.

Anthony Jones scored a rushing touchdown with 41 seconds to go to put the game away.

The Panthers’ Christian Alexander finished with 209 yards while completing 17 of 26 passes for one touchdown.

Running back Anthony Jones rushed for three touchdowns and 90 yards.

Eli Peters finished with three passing touchdowns and 264 yards. He completed 22 of 38 passes.
