Woman in viral shooting video released

30-year-old woman arrested after a video circulated on social media showed her firing a gun from a vehicle has been released without charge, police confirmed.

The suspect had been questioned on charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm and wantonly discharging a firearm, head of the Central Detective Unit Chief Superintendent Solomon Cash said.

According to Cash, the woman was released pending further investigations.

In the video, the woman is being coached on how to use the weapon. After getting instructions on how to hold the weapon, she successfully fired and was praised by a man, who said, “My [expletive deleted] shooter.”
