A man who admitted to growing marijuana at his home was yesterday fined $800.
If Sean Stubbs doesn’t pay the fine, he will spend nine months in prison.
Stubbs pleaded guilty to a charge of cultivation at his arraignment before Deputy Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain yesterday. Police initially went to Stubbs’ home at Sapodilla Boulevard on January 19 in response to a disturbance. While there they discovered six marijuana plants, the court heard.
