Minister of National Security Marvin Dames said the new technology will revolutionize crime fighting in The Bahamas.
It uses acoustic surveillance technology to detect, locate and alert the police of gunfire.
Dames said the ability to get to gunfire more quickly improves the likelihood of apprehending shooters, as well as the likelihood of saving the lives of victims.
