CBC served up beverages at Bahamas White Sands LPGA Pro-Am event

Some of the top female golfers from around the world competed in the 2019 Bahamas White Sands LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) Pro-Am Tournament, and the Caribbean Bottling Company Ltd. (CBC) was on board as a sponsor and non-alcoholic beverage provider.

“In addition to being a proud sponsor of the Bahamas White Sands LPGA Pro-Am, we were excited to have a Coca-Cola team take part, and to create, what we hope, was a memorable experience for the golfers, with our garden bar,” said Marketing Manager-Communications of CBC Nikia Wells. “Our team is committed to supporting the community and sporting initiatives around the country, and we had a great time keeping the participants, athletes and attendees hydrated throughout the tournament.”

In addition to a $10,000 cash sponsorship, CBC also hydrated golfers and event attendees with Dasani Water, Powerade and various Coca-Cola beverages. During the February 2 Pro-Am competition, golfers were also be able to visit the Schweppes garden bar, where they were able to enjoy Schweppes beverages, inclusive of Schweppes Tonic & Gin, as well as infused Dasani sparkling, complete with fresh fruit and herbs.

A Coca-Cola team, which included Marvin Bethell, Lambert Knowles, Andrew Stirling, and Calvin Lockhart and professional golfer, Jillian Hollis, took part in the tournament.

The 2019 Bahamas White Sands LPGA Pro-Am Tournament was held at the Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island, The Bahamas. It is just the beginning of a series of LPGA events set for The Bahamas this year.
