Bahamas Telecommunications Company Limited (BTC) has introduced an upgraded app to help its customers track their data usage, pay bills online and find their nearest BTC store location.
The company issued a press statement on the app, explaining that the “My BTC” app also allows tracking of landline accounts and is available in both the IOS App Store and the Google Play store.
BTC Chief Executive Officer Garfield Sinclair called the release of the new app a “blue letter day in the history of BTC”.
“We are focused more than ever before on exceeding our customers’ expectations,” Sinclair said.
“This sleek, new, upgraded mobile app offers a brand new digital experience, with an added level of convenience for all of our residential and small business customers, allowing you to manage all of your accounts, on your terms. We have completely upgraded the previous app, and customers can now enjoy real time tracking of their accounts, among a number of new enhanced features.”
According to the statement, 50 percent of BTCs call center inquires are for the data that the app now provides with unfettered access.
“Customers are now empowered to track their real-time mobile voice, data and SMS usage,” the statement points out.
“The app also enables you to check your prepaid balances, top up and add combo plans, transfer credit to prepaid accounts and pay bills online.
“Through its location feature, My BTC also intuitively directs you to the nearest BTC location.
“Through an advanced campaign manager, the mobile app is able to deliver customized offers for customers.”
