Two young men are facing a murder charge in the fatal shooting of a man near the Fox Hill park.
Fox Hill resident Richard Fowler, 47, was shot dead on February 12.
Owen Williams, 18, and Steffen Rolle, 23, both of Fox Hill, are charged with non-capital murder in his death.
They will not have to enter pleas to the charge until they are arraigned before the Supreme Court.
That case will be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court by a voluntary bill of indictment on April 12.
The murder suspects alleged that they were victims of police brutality and signed confessions under duress.
Acting Deputy Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain made note of their complaints.
They have been remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
