Two killed in separate traffic accidents

Two men died and another was left injured hours apart in two separate traffic accidents on New Providence, according to police.

Shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday, police reportedly responded to calls of a traffic accident on East Bay Street.

Police said the driver of a black Honda Coupe lost control of the car and hit a wall.

He died at the scene, while the passenger was taken to hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The second incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. yesterday, according to police.

Police said they responded to reports of a traffic accident on Blue Hill Road and Wulff Road involving a dark blue and a light blue Honda Accord.

The vehicles collided and struck a pedestrian, killing him on the scene.

Police continue to investigate.
