At least five people were injured following an accident at the Grand Bahama Shipyard, according to Superintendent Walter Henderson.
Police said a Royal Caribbean cruise ship crashed while docked at the shipyard.
“This is due to a crane, which collapsed while work was being done on the Oasis of the Seas ship,” police said in a statement.
Henderson confirmed that police and medical personnel were on their way to the scene, but he was unable to provide more details.
“I do not know the extent of the injuries as yet,” he said.
