Man accused of rape denied bail

A man accused of rape has been denied bail.

William Fleinor, 43, of Petera Avenue, Golden Gates Number Two, appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney charged with the March 27 sexual assault of a woman.

Fleinor was not required to enter a plea to the charge and was denied bail.

However, he can seek bail in the Supreme Court.

Fleinor’s case will be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court by a voluntary bill of indictment on May 20.
