Red Cross Fair’s Media Competition floating trophy awarded to Guardian Media Group

The floating trophy was awarded to the Guardian Media Group following its successful participation in the inaugural Media Competition during the 78th Annual Red Cross Fair, held on Sunday, April 7th at Clifford Park.

Staff members of the Guardian Media Group presented the trophy to General Manager and Editor Brent Dean on Monday in the boardroom of The Nassau Guardian.

The media company was invited, along with other media houses, by the Red Cross Fair’s events committee to participate in the Media Competition. The purpose was to create a fun-filled event that would help build better relationships between media establishments, as well as give the community an opportunity to see media personnel in a fun-filled environment.

Some of the games for the competition included the egg and spoon race, tug of war, sack race and a pineapple eating competition.

The floating trophy was presented to the Guardian Media Group by entertainer Alia Coley during the fair.
