Man dies days after traffic accident
Police yesterday reported that a man who was in a traffic accident on Saturday, died in hospital on Tuesday as a result of his injuries.
Police said he was driving on New Providence Highway around 11 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and collided into the guard rail at the junction of New Providence Highway and Sanford Drive.
Police said he was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said they are actively investigating the matter.
According to The Nassau Guardian’s records, there have been 22 traffic fatalities for the year so far.
