Two men shot and killed in separate incidents

Two men were shot and killed in two separate incidents Sunday evening and Monday morning, according to police.

Police said the most recent incident occurred shortly after 12 a.m. on Monday.

After receiving reports of a man being shot, police said they responded to Forster Street in Chippingham, where they discovered the man with injuries to his body.

Police said paramedics were called and attempted to revive the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The first incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday evening.

After receiving reports of a man being shot, police said they responded to a scene at Bonefish Pond off Cowpen Road where they discovered the man with injuries to his body.

Police said paramedics were called to the scene, where they examined the body and pronounced the man dead.

These incidents push the murder count for the year up to 21, according to The Nassau Guardian’s records.
