A 20-year-old man was yesterday charged with the March 29 murder of 37-year-old Alexander “Nonks” Bullard.
Donovan Brennen, of Rupert Dean Lane, appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney and was charged with one count of murder.
Police said they were responding to reports of gunshots in the area of Ferguson Street and Augusta Street, shortly after 1 a.m. on March 29, when they found Bullard’s bullet-riddled body lying on the ground.
Brennen, who did not have a lawyer, was not required to enter a plea to the charges and was remanded the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
Brennen next returns to court on May 30 for the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
