Another man murdered on Bimini
A man was shot and killed on Bimini yesterday morning, according to police.
Police said shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday officers in North Bimini responded to gunshots near Bailey Town where they discovered a man in his residence with gunshot wounds to the upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said officers from the Central Detective Unit (CDU) in Grand Bahama will travel to the island of Bimini to assist with this investigation.
Police are appealing to the public for any information that can assist in this investigation, to call the Bimini Police Station at 347-3144, or the Central Detective Unit in Grand Bahama at 350-3107.
Alain Perez, an American citizen who lived on the island, died at the clinic on Bimini three weeks ago after he was shot at his home hours before.
