Two men were charged yesterday in connection with sexual offenses.
Kevin Archer, 21, was denied bail after he was charged with assault with intent to rape.
Prosecutors say he assaulted his alleged victim with the intention of raping her on May 19 at Nassau Village.
Archer’s relatives asked that the court have him housed in the remand center as the men who are in prison for the murders of his nephew and uncle had allegedly sent threats to him.
Archer next returns to court on August 13.
James Stubbs, 25, was remanded to prison after he was charged with rape.
Prosecutors say he raped an 18-year-old in May 2017.
Stubbs is represented by Bjorn Ferguson and returns to court on July 30.
