Baha Mar will be expanding its culinary offerings with the opening of one of America’s favorite eatery and confectionary shops: Sugar Factory. Set to debut in spring 2020, the restaurant will feature a full-service café, confectionary shop, retail shop, a full-service carousel bar overlooking Baha Mar’s iconic fountains, along with the launch of the first ever CandyOcean by Sugar Factory, a one-of-a-kind aquatic-themed Instagram experience.

We look forward to introducing CandyOcean by Sugar Factory and the new menu items exclusively available at Baha Mar, in a way that will be uniquely Bahamian and entirely unexpected.”
The first CandyOcean by Sugar Factory at Baha Mar will feature life-size sculptures of dolphins and sharks blowing bubble gum, flamingos frolicking on cotton candy clouds and many more sea life-inspired moments. Sugar Factory confectionary shop will feature the signature floor-to-ceiling candy wall with more than 500 types of candy, including a selection of novelty and bulk candy like the world-famous Couture Pops. Completing the confectionary, the café will offer coffees, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, homemade specialty rainbow doughnuts and pastries, in addition to homemade gelato.
“When Baha Mar was first announced, we knew we wanted to bring a Sugar Factory location there. Now, one of the hottest new resort destinations to visit in the world, Baha Mar’s cheerful and vibrant setting is the perfect place for our lively atmosphere and playful menu,” said Sugar Factory Owner Charissa Davidovici. “The new restaurant will be unique to its tropical location, yet stay true to the iconic and signature charm of Sugar Factory.”
The dining room, replete with red tufted banquettes, crystal chandeliers and antique brass accents, will seat 200 guests indoors and 100 guests on the outdoor patio, as well as 30 seats at an extraordinary outdoor carousel bar and gazebo with views of Baha Mar’s dazzling fountain show. Sugar Factory’s menu features signature items such as crepes, salads, monster burgers, amazing steaks, insane milkshakes and specialty pizzas. The legendary desserts will top the menu with the famous King Kong Sundae, serving up to 12 people with 24 scoops of ice cream topped with sprinkles, gummy bears, caramel sauce, fudge sauce and giant swirly pops, to name a few.
The elevated white marble bar seats up to 13 guests and will provide full menu service complete with Sugar Factory’s signature 64-ounce alcohol-infused smoking candy goblets, including a new Baha Mar Goblet which will be exclusive to the resort destination. Fan-favorites like the Lollipop Passion, garnished with lollipops and candy necklaces; the Watermelon Mojito, featuring Pitbull’s Voli 305 Vodka and sour watermelon gummies; and The Drake goblet, made from a sweet mix of Virginia Black whiskey, peach puree and sweet tea, with sour patch peaches and a burst of strawberry lemonade cotton candy, among others will be available.
Sugar Factory is known for their celebrity fans who have frequented locations around the globe. Fans and friends include world-renowned celebrities such as Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Pitbull, Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Flo Rida, Hailee Steinfeld, Katy Perry, Scott Disick, Jason Derulo, Britney Spears, Jerry Seinfeld, Selma Hayek and Mel B.
Sugar Factory Baha Mar will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch and late-night dining options.
