The suspects in two recent murders made their first appearance before a magistrate yesterday.
Rosemond Etienne, 22, of Wilson Tract, faced four counts of attempted murder in addition to his murder charge.
Prosecutors say Etienne is responsible for the May 13 fatal shooting of Kyle Rolle at Plantol Street and the attempted murders of Leonardo Farrington, Marvin Brown, Roseler Raymonvile and Gerald Joseph.
Etienne, who was represented by attorney Terrell Butler, was not required to enter pleas to the charges and was remanded to prison.
He next returns to court on August 13.
Joey Scott was not required to plead to the charge that he murdered Lamont Fisher on May 7.
Fisher was fatally stabbed at Dominica Way.
Scott, who was represented by attorney Dion Smith, also returns to court on August 13.
