Robbers hit Commonwealth Bank location
An unknown amount of money was stolen from Commonwealth Bank on Prince Charles Drive yesterday morning, according to police.
Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Paul Rolle confirmed the theft took place however, police provided limited details up to press time.
“I can confirm that police were called to the bank to investigate a [break in] where suspects forced their way into the building and stole an undetermined amount of cash from the night depository,” Rolle said.
No arrest was made in relation to the incident.
Police said investigations were ongoing.
