Woman dies in car accident
A woman was killed during a car crash yesterday morning, police said.
Shortly after 4 a.m. a man and woman were headed north on Sir Milo Butler Highway when the driver of a black Honda Civic lost control of the car, according to police.
Police said the car crashed into a tree before rolling down into a ditch.
Officers from Fire Services extricated the two individuals from the car, however police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the man was transported to the hospital where he was last listed in stable condition.
