Hours after a man died in hospital from stab wounds he sustained during an altercation in Fox Hill on Friday night, another man suffered a similar fate in Pinewood, police said.

The victim in the first incident was identified as Bahamian artist Devon “Mdeez” Knight.

Police said things turned violent after the victim and another man were involved in a traffic collision at the junction of Prince Charles Drive and Fox Hill Road.

“As a result, the male drivers became involved in an altercation, resulting in one of them being stabbed multiple times about the body,” a police statement said.

Knight was transported to hospital where he died a short time later.

Police have a 32-year-old in custody in connection with the stabbing.

The second man was killed shortly after 11 p.m.

Police said the victim was walking on Rosewood Street when he was approached by a man and stabbed multiple times. He was transported to hospital where he died.

A 28-year-old Pinewood resident is in custody in connection with this matter, police said.
