American Airlines flight makes emergency landing on GB
An American Airlines plane headed to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, had to make an emergency landing yesterday at Grand Bahama International Airport, according to police.
Police said that American Eagle Airline flight 1963 left Charlotte, North Carolina, shortly before 10 a.m. with 109 passengers on board, including the crew.
According to police, the flight began experiencing difficulties and made the emergency landing as a precautionary measure.
The plane landed safely and there were no injuries or damage reported, police said.
