Trial set for man accused of double murder

A trial date has been set for a man accused of killing two children in 2017.

Deon Scavella, 23, faces capital murder charges for the murders of Devonte Lindsey, 15, and Keishon Williams, 13, cousins who were found shot in the head through a service road off Yellow Elder Gardens on March 19, 2017.

Justice Bernard Turner is scheduled to preside over the trial on July 30.

Scavella, who is on remand, is represented by Devard Francis.
