Unsightly signs removed
Many thanks to Bahamas Public Parks and Beaches Authority Chairman Shanendon Cartwright and the hardworking staff for their prompt response to letters complaining about the unsightly, oversized billboards at Montagu Park.
Most of the signs have been removed and it’s hoped BAMSI will remove the one still standing.
People will pay a million dollars for property with a waterfront view. It truly boggles the mind that so many thoughtless persons would plant these ugly signs, blotting out the magnificent seascape and cheapening a recreational area that hosts the national monument of Fort Montagu.
