Two men were charged yesterday in connection with separate murders.
Basil Clarke, 43, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt and was charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Clarke was charged with the September 6 murder of Jimmy Augustine and Dwight Miller on Key West Street.
Clarke was represented by attorney Jomo Campbell.
He was not required to enter a plea and was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
Clarke returns to court on December 11 for the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
Also arraigned before Ferguson-Pratt was Wayde Rolle, 29.
He was charged with the September 18 murder of Antonio Farrington.
According to police, Farrington was sitting in his car on Bimini Avenue off Market Street when he was approached by a man who shot him.
Farrington was taken to hospital where he died.
Rolle was not represented by an attorney and was also remanded to prison.
He returns to court on December 18 for the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
