Dorian death toll hits 69
Police on Abaco recovered two dead bodies in The Mudd shantytown, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said yesterday.
One body was found on November 8, and the other on November 14, NEMA said.
This brings the total number of bodies recovered since Hurricane Dorian to 69.
According to NEMA, 59 bodies were recovered on Abaco and 10 bodies were recovered on Grand Bahama.
Dorian, a Category 5 storm, smashed parts of Abaco and Grand Bahama in September. At least 200 people remain missing.
