Man gets probation for robbery

A man accused of armed robbery has been sentenced to three years’ probation.

Shadrack Smith accepted a plea agreement and admitted robbing another man of a chain and charm when he appeared before Justice Renae McKay.

If Smith is convicted of any offense during the period of probation, he will be jailed for three years.

Alex Morley represented Smith and Kristan Stubbs and Zoe Gibson appeared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
