Atlantis hosts local sports media for Super Bowl LIV
Paradise Island – As sports enthusiasts gathered at various venues to watch the kick-off of Super Bowl LIV on Sunday, February 2, several members of the local sports media met at their usual hangout for the past six years – Virgil’s BBQ at the iconic Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island.
In an effort to show their support to the local sports media, every year Atlantis would invite sportscasters from all media houses throughout the capital to watch the ‘Big Game’ on the big screens at Virgil’s BBQ.
For the entire duration of Super Bowl LIV, the local sports media, hosted by Ed Fields, senior VP of public affairs at Atlantis and members of the public relations team, had the opportunity to relax and unwind in the safe and comfortable environment of Virgil’s BBQ while indulging in a full spread buffet and unlimited bucket specials. This year, the local sports media bid farewell to Fields as he moves on to pursue new endeavors.
