American model arrested after found with marijuana at airport

An American model was arrested at the Nassau airport after police found five grams of marijuana on her.

Gallienne Nabila Gilmer-Hack, 22, was headed back to Los Angeles, California, when she was arrested at Lynden Pindling International Airport on February 18.

Gilmer-Hack pleaded guilty when she appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes yesterday.

Forbes found the charge proven but did not convict Gilmer-Hack and gave her an absolute discharge.

Ian Cargill appeared for Gilmer-Hack, who has since left the country.
