A man accused of a near fatal shooting was denied bail Friday.
Farron Palmer, 27, of Dunmore Avenue, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt and was charged with the March 28 attempted murder of Jerone Thompson.
Prosecutors allege that Palmer, while being concerned with others, attempted to murder Thompson at Albury Street in Chippingham.
Palmer is also accused of violation of curfew as police say he was not home when he allegedly committed the crimes.
Since both charges will be tried in the Supreme Court, Palmer was not required to enter a plea.
He returns to court on June 2. At that time, prosecutors plan to fast-track the case to the Supreme Court for trial.
Attorney Jomo Campbell represents Palmer, who has been remanded to prison.
